About Us

We created The Beauty Co as a boutique skin and beauty salon in Whangamata. Our aim was to design a space where our clients felt supported and empowered to love themselves, however that may look for them. We offer luxury facials, pampering nail and body treatments and gentle effective hair removal alongside a wide range of indulgent products that you can use at home to bring yourself a little love everyday. 

Chloe has worked in the beauty industry in Aotearoa and overseas for 17 years. She is the ultimate beauty guru and our in house skin expert. Her passions in beauty lie with non-surgical cosmetic enhancements, skin needling as well as crafting jaw dropping makeup looks for brides and special events. Her goal is to help clients feel like the best possible versions of themselves. 

After 8 years managing our local Whangamata Stirling Sports, Summer decided it was time for a change. Recently completing her nail cert she already had one foot in the door. Being a regular waxing client at The Beauty Co. she was approached by Chloe to take on the roll as a full time beauty therapist, absolutely smashing out her apprenticeship with top marks. Pursuing a career in the beauty industry had always been at the back of her mind so she jumped on the opportunity. Summers specialises in nails enhancements and is our soft gel extensions queen.

After completing a 10 week starter beauty course through a gateway program at College Luciele knew she wanted to continue studying in the beauty industry. She started her apprenticeship at a local skin and laser clinic in her home town Waikanae and loved it! Learning things like Dermaplanning, IPL, brow shaping and tinting, lash tinting and waxing. After a year she decided it was time for a move to the beautiful Whangamata be closer to her partner. Luciele approached Chloe for a job determined to continue working in the industry and through the apprenticeship. Her favourite treatments are brows, lashes and facials.
