About Us

We created The Beauty Co as a boutique skin and beauty salon in Whangamata. Our aim was to design a space where our clients felt supported and empowered to love themselves, however that may look for them. We offer luxury facials, pampering nail and body treatments and gentle effective hair removal alongside a wide range of indulgent products that you can use at home to bring yourself a little love, everyday. 

Chloe has worked in the beauty industry in Aotearoa and overseas for 14 years. She is the ultimate beauty guru and our in house skin expert. Her passions in beauty lie with non-surgical cosmetic enhancements, crafting jaw dropping makeup looks for brides and special events and helping clients feel like the best possible versions of themselves. 

After 8 years managing our local Whangamata Stirling Sports, Summer decided it was time for a change. Recently completing her nail cert she already had one foot in the door. Being a regular waxing client at The Beauty Co. she was approached by Chloe to take on the roll of our new apprentice. Pursuing a career in the beauty industry had always been at the back of her mind so she jumped on the opportunity. Summers specialises in nails enhancements and is our soft gel extensions queen.

Coming from a retail and hospitality background, Jamie has always loved chatting and working with people to help them feel good in their skin. After completing her level 4 Beauty Certificate at Te Pukenga it was a no brainer that she would come back to her home town of Whangamata and share her new found beauty knowledge and skills with the community. Jamie has a passion for brow makeovers and loves a good brow lamination treatment, She is also a skincare wizard and loves prescribing home care to her clients.
